What the estimates cover

The calculators estimate mathematical quantities for the selected project geometry or purchasing workflow. They do not inspect a site, review plans, select products, or verify the values entered by a user.

What the calculators do not determine

Calculator results do not determine:

• structural adequacy or required dimensions;
• reinforcement requirements;
• soil suitability or excavation requirements;
• building-code or permit compliance;
• manufacturer or product instructions;
• contractor means and methods;
• actual delivered material quantity;
• pricing, labor, delivery, or availability; or
• site-specific placement loss or waste.

Precision, rounding, and waste

Internal calculations may retain more precision than the values shown on screen, and displayed results may be rounded for readability. A waste allowance is user-selected where offered; Calcifit does not prescribe one universal waste percentage.

Actual requirements may vary because of field dimensions, site conditions, excavation, formwork, placement methods, product yield, supplier practices, and other project-specific factors.
